When I began painting these goofy angels I imagined them frolicking about on beautiful beaches, delightfully sun-kissed and adorned in hats and lovely swimsuits (especially those with gold polka dots!).As these heavenly gals evolved and revealed their language of symbols to me, I realized they represented an important aspect of myself and my deep longing to impart the message of self-love to those on whom they may happen to land. Though I get a kick out of celebrating how elegance can be worn with humor, I hope moreover, that there is a sense of serenity emitted from these”Shimmerbelles” that translates in a dreamy, giggly sort of way. Be an angel love yourself.
